Serag was founded in 2014 with an aim to fulfill the ICV requirements of Sultanate of Oman and cater to the huge market potential of welding electrodes in the region. Seragbecame the first company to manufacture welding electrodes in Oman. Serag obtained ISO 9001 certification and PDO approval in 2018. DNV Certification was obtained in 2019. SERAG 6013

AWS Code: E 6013
Category : Rutile
Application: An all passion, rutile type, thin coated, mild steel electrode depositing smoth welds having good mechanical properties. Slag detachability is good . a general purpose electrode for Ms Fabrication which includes welding angles, channels, heavy frames and othe structural work.

SERAG 6010

AWS Code: E 6010
Category : Cellulosic
Application: A light , cellulose-coated electrode , especially suitable for depositing X - ray quality welds with deep penetration properties in all welding positions . Widely used for welding of low and high pressure pipe - lines by conventional or stove-pipe technique .

SERAG 7018

AWS Code: E 7018
Category : LOW HYDROGEN
Application: Heavy coated basic type Low Hydrogen iron Powder electrodes with a deposition efficiency of 115% approx. It gives excellent arc stability , arc smoothness and very easy slag removal . It is an exceptional all positional electrode giving X-ray quality welds even for pipe welding in 5G & 6G. It is used for pressure vessels , steel gears and heavy fabrication.

SERAG 7010-1

AWS Code: E7010-P1
Category : Cellulosic
Application: High cellulose electrode developed specifically for welding pipe lines. Although this electrode may be used in any position, it is best suited for vertical up or vertical down welding. It may be used with AC or DC. Most commonly used for welding carbon- moly piping used in high pressure, high temperature steam service and structural shapes, plates and castings.

SERAG 316L

Category : STAINLESS STEEL
Application: Developed for the welding of 18/13/Mo stainless steels with controlled ferrite content for maximum resistance to corrosion & hot cracking. Weld metal can withstand elevated temperatures upto 850*C & has excellent creep resistance.

Category : STAINLESS STEEL
Application: Suitable for welding AISI 309 type steels, joining stainless to low alloy and carbon steels, building up and overlaying mild steel 10 increase wear resistance and worn out pars of wear resistance steels..

SERAG 7018-1

AWS Code: E 7018-1
Category : LOW HYDROGEN
Application: Sustainable for a wide range of application involving heavy fabrication and joints subject to dynamic loading and heavy impact. It is specially recommended for applications where good impact strength at subzero temperature is called for. Typical applications include pressure vessels, pen stocks, storage tanks, offshore platforms, plant and equipments for low temperature services.
